简单来说，我是一个既风趣幽默又严厉苛责的老师。我性格开朗，喜欢营造一种轻松愉快的氛围，让课堂感觉更像是两个朋友聊天说笑，而不是在上课。但我同时也希望我的学生认真对待语言练习，因为我真心希望他们能够进步，体验到掌握一门外语的喜悦。我会和你们玩“禁忌游戏”（里面会用到一些粗俗的词语），但我也会督促你们掌握基础知识（比如基本词汇、动词变位等等）。Me in a nutshell: a mix of fun and tough love. I’m a fun-loving guy, and I like to create an environment where it feels more like two friends chatting and cracking jokes than a class. But I also want my students to take their language practice seriously, because I actually want them to progress and feel that joy of proficiency in another language. I’ll play a game of Taboo with you (rude words included), but I’ll also nag you to master your fundamentals (basic vocabulary and verb conjugation, etc.).

我和蒂亚戈的第一节课，我们玩了“反人类卡牌”（Cards Against Humanity）。毋庸置疑，这对我来说至关重要，它帮助我克服了潜意识里对犯错的恐惧，也激励我报名参加了更多课程。蒂亚戈对语言充满热情，尤其对语言结构更是精通——他总是乐于解释任何语法结构背后的奥秘。此外，他还提供许多学习技巧和资源，帮助你建立学习习惯（当然，你是否能坚持下去就不是他能控制的了！）。In my first lesson with Tiago, we played Cards Against Humanity. Needless to say, this was crucial in helping me overcome my unconscious but damaging fear of making mistakes, and it motivated me to book many more lessons. He is someone who exudes a passion for languages, especially for their structure - he will always be ready to explain the hidden mechanics behind any grammatical construction. Additionally, he is full of tips and resources to help you build a study routine (though whether you actually stick to it is out of his hands!).
