About Me
Hello, my name is Jasmine and I am a native English speaker from the United Kingdom. I hold a BA in French and German from the University of Bristol, an MA in Global Literatures and Cultures, and a CELTA qualification in English language teaching. I have been teaching English online for around four years and have worked with learners from a wide range of countries, backgrounds, and ability levels. Before teaching online, I also taught English in schools abroad as part of my university studies, which inspired me to pursue a career in language education. As a language learner myself, I understand both the challenges and the rewards of learning a new language. My aim is to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and developing their confidence in English. I have a particular interest in languages, literature, history, and culture, and I enjoy bringing these topics into lessons whenever they match a student's interests.

Lessons are relaxed, friendly, and interactive, giving you plenty of opportunities to practise and develop your English in a supportive environment. We can discuss a wide variety of topics, including everyday life, current affairs, British culture, travel, literature, history, and your own hobbies and professional interests. If you need English for work, study, travel, or exams, I can also help you develop the specific language skills you require. I welcome learners of all levels, from beginners to advanced students, and I look forward to helping you achieve your English language goals.
