自己紹介
こんにちは！カミラです👋 ブラジル出身で、現在はポルトガルのポルトに住んでいます。20年以上にわたり、「英語は理解できるのに、話す段になると固まってしまう」という方々が、自信を持って英語を話せるようになるお手伝いをしてきました。
ケンブリッジ大学認定のCELTA資格と、サンパウロ大学で教育学の学位を取得しています。20年以上にわたり、子供からティーンエイジャー、大人、そしてネスレやノキアなどの企業チームを含む社会人まで、幅広い層の方々に英語を教えてきました。また、独自の英語プログラムを企画・運営し、他の教師の育成にも携わってきました。
もう少し自己紹介をさせてください。私の情熱は、食と旅行の2つに注がれています。国の料理はその文化を最もよく表すもののひとつだと信じており、アンソニー・ボーデインのように、観光客ではなく旅人でありたいと思っています。夫や友人のために料理をするのが大好きで、映画、文学、語学、歴史にも興味があります。ポルトでは2匹の小さな猫と一緒に暮らしています。 🐱 私は本当に好奇心旺盛な人間なので、あなたの国や文化についてもぜひ知りたいと思っています。最高の会話はまさにそこから始まるものですからね。Hi! I’m Camila 👋 an English teacher from Brazil, now living in Porto, Portugal. For the past 20 years I’ve helped people go from “I understand everything but freeze when I have to speak” to speaking English with real confidence.
I’m CELTA-certified (University of Cambridge) with a degree in Pedagogy (University of São Paulo). Over 20 years I’ve taught children, teenagers, adults and professionals, including corporate teams at companies like Nestlé and Nokia, and I’ve designed and run my own English programs and trained other teachers.
A little bit more about me: I’m passionate about two things: food and travel. I believe a country’s cuisine is one of the highest expressions of its culture, and like Anthony Bourdain, I try to be a traveller, not a tourist. I love cooking for my husband and friends, I’m into cinema, literature, languages and History, and I share my home in Porto with two little cats. 🐱 I’m also a genuinely curious person, so I can’t wait to learn about your country and culture too. Some of the best conversations start exactly there.

私のレッスンの特徴：私の教室は、安全で居心地の良い空間です。ここでは決して批判されることはありません。間違いは学習の一部であり、私はそのように捉えられるようお手伝いします。初心者で緊張している方から、上級者で細かい部分を磨きたい方まで、どなたにも根気強く接します。もし短期間で成果を出したいのであれば、より体系的で、目標達成に向けて厳しく指導します。そして、私の経験から、単に「会話練習」をするだけではありません。流暢さ、ビジネス英語、就職面接対策、試験対策など、あなたのニーズに合わせてコースをカスタマイズします。
実例を挙げると、ある生徒は以前は英語での就職面接に全く対応できませんでしたが、今では自信を持って面接に臨み、選考プロセス全体を英語で行えるようになりました。この変化こそ、私が最もやりがいを感じる瞬間です。What lessons with me are like: My classroom is a safe, welcoming space. You will never be judged here: mistakes are simply part of learning, and I’ll help you see them that way. I’m patient with everyone, whether you’re a nervous beginner or an advanced speaker polishing the details. If you want fast results, I’ll be more structured and demanding to get you there. And because of my experience, I don’t just “do conversation”: I build a course around exactly what you need, whether that’s fluency, professional English, job interviews, or exam preparation.
A real example: one of my students went from being unable to get through a job interview in English to interviewing with confidence, and taking part in full selection processes entirely in English. That transformation is what I love most.
