About Me

From a young age, I had the opportunity to travel and live in different countries because of my father's work. Growing up surrounded by different cultures broadened my horizons and sparked a lifelong curiosity about people, languages, and different ways of life. I'm currently living in Lisbon, Portugal, and really enjoying discovering everything this beautiful city has to offer! In my free time, I love exploring cities on foot, exercising, spending quality time with family and friends, enjoying good food, and connecting with people. Traveling is also one of my biggest passions, and I'm always excited about discovering new places and experiencing different cultures. I'm a huge music lover, and going to live concerts is one of my favorite things to do. My musical tastes are quite eclectic, ranging from rock and reggae to jazz and classical music. I also enjoy visiting art exhibitions and exploring the creative side of the places I visit. I've always loved reading and writing, too. I was an avid reader as a teenager, and lately I've been making an effort to rediscover that habit and make more time for books. I also enjoy a little creative writing whenever inspiration strikes. Above all, I'd describe myself as a curious, open-minded, and friendly person who genuinely enjoys learning, sharing experiences, and connecting with people from different backgrounds.

About My Lessons

My lessons are designed to be engaging, interactive, and tailored to each student’s individual needs and learning goals. In addition to my CELTA teaching qualification, I have a background in Psychology, which helps me bring a patient, attentive, and understanding approach to teaching. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable, supported, and confident enough to express themselves, make mistakes, and ask questions. My teaching style is student-centered, meaning I encourage active participation rather than simply lecturing. I prioritize opportunities for students to practice their speaking and listening skills through meaningful conversations, interactive activities, and, when appropriate, games. Above all, I aim to create a relaxed, positive, and dynamic learning environment where students feel motivated to participate, build confidence, and make real progress.
