About Me
My name is Elhassane OUMALK, and I'm a French inspector at the high school level and have been teaching French as a Foreign Language (FLE) for over eight years. With more than twenty years of experience teaching French at the middle and high school levels, I've taught diverse student populations: middle schoolers, high schoolers, and adults from all over the world. I use a communicative and action-oriented approach, centered on concrete tasks and authentic materials. Supportive yet demanding, I believe that every learner can progress with the right method. Today, I want to put this experience to work for Voilà.Fun to make French a vibrant and accessible language.
About My Lessons
My French as a Foreign Language (FLE) classes are based on a simple idea: you learn a language by experiencing it, not by passively enduring it. I design each session as a space for exchange where the learner is an active participant: role-playing, debates, authentic materials, and practical tasks. The goal is not just to master rules, but to dare to speak, make mistakes, try again, and progress. In my class, a mistake isn't a failing; it's a step in the process. And little by little, French becomes a language that students enjoy using.
