About Me
Hi, I'm Bridgette. I'm Zimbabwean, and I am a TEFL-certified English teacher with a passion for helping students improve their English skills in a supportive and enjoyable learning environment. I have experience teaching English to students of different ages and proficiency levels. Whether you are a beginner learning English for the first time or an advanced learner looking to improve your fluency, pronunciation, grammar, or conversational skills, I am here to guide you every step of the way. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and tailored to each student's individual needs and goals. I believe that learning should be engaging, interactive, and enjoyable. Outside of teaching, I enjoy baking and spending time outdoors exploring new places. These hobbies help me stay creative and bring positive energy into my lessons. About My Lessons
I learnt English as a second language too. I have shy speakers who understand English but can't speak it outside the classroom. My students go from quiet to confident speaking in 30 days. So, I'm able to achieve this result using some of my coaching skills. I use active listening skills, open-ended questions, as well as simple questions and answer drills. I ensure to create a safe space so that mistakes are allowed. My classes are student-centered, which helps you go from shy or zero speaking to speaking confidently in 30 days.
