How to Survive a Colombian Dinner Party

By the end of this session, students will be able to leave behind the awkward, silent nodding and actively participate in casual group conversations. Specifically, they will master: - Brain-buying filler words: How to naturally use bueno, a ver, and o sea to pause and think without breaking the flow of the conversation. - The "native reaction" toolkit: A set of go-to, high-energy phrases to react to gossip, stories, or jokes in real time, such us ¡No me digas!, ¡Qué fuerte!, and ¡Totalmente!. - The art of the interruption: Polite, conversational hacks to jump into a fast-moving conversation before the topic changes.

Empieza tu camino en español: práctico, paciente y enfocado en principiantes.

¡Hola!

About this class

The class is conducted almost entirely in Spanish, creating a warm, lively "dinner party simulation" environment where mistakes are just part of the fun. This isn't a lecture. The session leverages the group format, so students can chat, interrupt, and react to each other, mimicking a real-world social circle.
