Frequently asked questions
How do the classes work?
Classes are live video sessions on Voilà. After you enroll, every session appears in your Voilà dashboard — you join with one click at class time.
How do I pay?
You save your card securely at enrollment and are charged per session: each session is only charged as its cancellation cutoff passes — nothing is taken upfront. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.
What happens if the class is cancelled?
If the class doesn't have its minimum number of students before the first session, it is called off — this is checked from the cancellation cutoff (24 hours before the first session) right up until it starts, and because your card is only charged as each session takes place, you pay nothing (anything already charged is refunded automatically). Once the first session starts, the class runs to completion — a later drop below the minimum does not cancel it. If the tutor cancels an individual session, you are never charged for it (or it is refunded automatically if it had already been charged).
Can I cancel, and will I get a refund?
Yes. You can cancel a single session or the whole class anytime from your dashboard or the link in your confirmation email. Your card is only charged for a session once its cancellation cutoff passes, so any session you cancel before its cutoff — or within 24 hours of enrolling — is simply never charged (or refunded automatically if it was). Sessions you cancel after the cutoff, or that have already taken place, are not refundable.
